Join us all day on Tuesday, September 24, at Scandinavia House in midtown Manhattan, where we’ll share stories in four sessions on 1) how the private sector, in partnership with RMI, is leading climate action, 2) how slashing methane can solve short-term climate goals, 3) how communities in the United States are benefiting from the IRA, and 4) how we can change hearts and minds in the fight against climate change. This dynamic program will feature RMI experts and partners from across industry, government, philanthropy, and community-based organizations.

As the world unites around the historic goal set at COP28 of tripling renewable energy capacity by 2030 and prepares for the New Collective Quantified Goal on Climate Finance (NCQG) at COP29, a critical question arises: how can public and philanthropic funding catalyze private investment to drive the energy transition?
RMI has worked with partners to provide evidence and equity-based input to the NCQG process for the past three years. During New York Climate Week, this event brings together global leaders to explore how private capital can be mobilized within the framework of international climate finance commitments.

Scoping Out CO2 Emissions at The Hub Live, Climate Week NYC
RMI's Josh Henretig will be speaking at The Hub Live, the main Climate Week NYC programming, in a session hosted by Hitachi Vantara. The in-person session is invite only; however, anyone can sign up for the livestream.
Reclaiming the Future
This event is a discussion around the impactful, soon-to-be-released RMI report on assessing the climate impacts of refrigerant reclamation. RMI’s Ankit Kalanki is speaking on a panel during Climate Week hosted by Hudson Technologies called “Reclaiming the Future – Capitalizing on Emissions Reduction Opportunities in Refrigerant Management.”
